Manual Greace Gun
KSh2,200.00
-
Pump Head: Houses the check valves, air bleeder valve, and the threaded port for the rigid extension or hose.
-
Lever Handle: The long manual arm that provides the mechanical leverage to actuate the internal piston. It often features a rubber or vinyl grip for comfort.
-
Barrel (Cylinder): Holds the standard 14 oz grease cartridge (or can be loaded with bulk grease).
-
T-Handle / Plunger Rod: Located at the rear of the barrel, used to pull back the internal follower spring when reloading cartridges.
-
Extension & Coupler: Usually comes with a rigid metal pipe and a 4-jaw coupler that snaps securely onto standard Zerk fittings. Flexible hoses can also be attached for better access in tight spots.
Lever-action grease guns are the workhorses of mechanical lubrication. Built for durability and high output, they use a leverage mechanical advantage to deliver high pressure and volume with every stroke.
Key Characteristics & Benefits
-
High Pressure: They can easily generate up to 10,000 PSI (pounds per square inch) or more, which is crucial for clearing out stubborn, clogged, or dried-out grease fittings.
-
High Volume per Stroke: They pump significantly more grease per stroke compared to pistol-grip models, making quick work of large machinery, tractors, or multiple high-capacity bearings.
-
Durability: Typically constructed from heavy-gauge steel with robust internal linkages, designed to withstand harsh workshop, job site, and agricultural environments.

Best Applications
-
Agricultural Equipment: Tractors, combines, loaders, and implements with many heavy-duty pivot points.
-
Heavy Machinery & Construction: Excavators, backhoes, and industrial equipment operating in dirty, high-load conditions.
-
Commercial Trucks & Trailers: Suspension components, kingpins, and fifth-wheel plates.
Tips for Effective Use
-
Two-Handed Operation: Unlike pistol-grip guns that can be operated with one hand, lever-action models require two hands—one to hold and stabilize the coupler onto the fitting, and the other to pump the lever.
-
Lever Positioning: Be mindful of your swing space. Because of the long handle, you need enough clearance to pull the lever through its full arc of motion.
-
Dealing with Air Pockets: If the lever feels completely loose and no grease comes out after loading a new cartridge, air is trapped inside. Use the air-release valve or slightly loosen the barrel head to bleed the air until grease begins to flow.
